So, today is Saturday, around 5:14 pm, and am one of those "Type A" personalities that strives and drives for perfection and efficiency. Life is about routine and getting things done in a timely and efficient manner--note the pharmacy career! I would be a hypocrit if I didn't acknowledge my own lack of stopping to "smell the roses". I realized just how busy my life was when I stopped at a grocery store one morning after a crazy month. I bought a coffee at the in-store Starbucks and soon found myself slowly walking the isles, sipping my coffee, and singing to the music playing on the speakers. I realized at that moment how precious simple moments are and how infrequently I stop to acknowledge them. Once I left the grocery store, I realized that the sky was blue, the sun was shining...I also discovered that I felt relaxed, calm, and at peace with myself and the moment. This blog is my way of capturing the Simple Pleasures of Life and acknowledging that life is more than perfection and efficiencies--it's about experiences and everlasting memories. am one of those "Type A" personalities that strives and drives for perfection and efficiency.
